Jurassic Park 2 reminds me of a combination of Alien 3 and Contra. The action is nonstop and the audio and graphics are superbly done (especially the intro). The scenery gets a bit repetitive, but the missions are all pretty cool. The Two-player Mode is really nice. At first it seems like there are a lot of instant hits, but once you know the play mechanics, you'll go far. Overall, I highly recommend this one.

It's good, but certainly not what I wanted. JP2 has been relegated to the role of a basic run-and-shoot game. While this may appeal to some, it certainly won't bode well with fans of the original adventure-type game, like myself. Another major gripe is the fact after you kill an enemy and leave the screen, they're back again when you return. On the good side, the music is great and the number of weapons is a plus.
Hey! Pretty cool opening cinema! It's too bad I didn't care much for the rest of the game. Jurassic Park 2 needs a little boost in excitement because this game hardly offers any. The colors are dull and drab and the music may lull you to sleep. Although there are many missions to complete, they all lack variety and seem to be the same thing. The play control is okay, but needs a little work. Just slightly above average.
This is a decent side-scrolling game, but after falling for the adventure version, it doesn't have the same impact. As an action game, it does have tons of weapons and dinos to destroy. However, it doesn't really excel over other games in this category. The graphics are about average. The missions and interface are pretty cool. Chaos Island is a Command and Conquer style strategy game that only loosely follows the plot of The Lost World. While the cast is mostly the same, the rest of the game seems to be doing its own thing. InGen has mercenaries on the island who are killing all the dinosaurs in an effort to cover up the Isla Nublar incident. While in the movie the mercenaries and the protagonists form an uneasy truce towards the end to ensure their mutual survival, no such thing happens in the game. In fact, in later levels we will see the InGen team rolling around with 30+ jeeps and TANKS of all goddamn things.
2007 was a beautiful time for LPs. Originally I had intended to post my Trespasser LP in mid 2007 but midway through I lost my strategy guide and had my Amazon replacement stolen in the mail. I decided not to throw good money after bad and scrapped the whole project till 2008 when I started over and managed to finish the game. It would have been very 2007 of me to post what I had and abandon the thread but I'm pretty happy with the way things turned out in the end. Nothing like a terrible game and some average videos to entertain the masses of yesteryear.
While not a terrible game, Chaos Island suffers from a number of issues mainly revolving around being a pre-Starcraft RTS. I am of the opinion that a good VLP of an RTS cannot be done and this LP didn't change my mind. I hope you didn't get your hopes up.
